Paris Marathon (0.92 km) - The Paris Marathon is a wonderful course which takes runners along some of the Paris' most famous landmarks. The race starts on the Champs-Elysées and continues past the main monuments in the centre, including the Rue de Rivoli, the Concorde and Place de la Bastille, before heading out towards Auteuil. All the runners are invited to a massive pre-race "pasta party", where hundreds of kilos of free spaghetti bolognaise is on offer to keep up the energy levels...
